  • Created 'You Only Live Once', a film to feature Team No Limits (four mountain bikers with type 1 diabetes) at the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo & feature the event - 2017 (on this website (videos/films) and on my YouTube page (davenevins)

  • Pepsi Hotshot Basketball Contest (top 8 in the U.S. one year and top 24 in the U.S. year before). Competitions at half time during NBA games in Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles, CA
  • Created Sea Kayaking Expeditions through No Limits.  
  • Created the No Limits Dive for Diabetes (sky dive event).  Possibly the biggest sky dive event in the Pacific Northwest that year
  • Created the No Limits Over the Edge event (bungee jump)
  • On crew for the Go Fast Games (Royal Gorge, Canon City, Colorado)
  • Received the Banff Film Fest Sitka award to fund a No Limits Sea Kayak Expedition and to create the film 'Sugar Free Ocean'
  • On the Race Across America Media 1 team
  • Involved with the Race Across America (7 years).  Includes 1 year as crew for Team Type 1 and 2 years on crew for Team Type 2
  • Sitka Mountain Rescue team (Sitka, Alaska)
  • Sitka Sound Ocean Adventure Race (Sitka, Alaska) 10.7 nautical miles in a Tlingit Warrior Canoe
  • BBAD Tour (Border to Border Against Diabetes - Arizona/Utah border to Idaho/Utah border
  • Co-author of 'Boise Backcountry Adventures' Comprehensive 327 page trail book for the Boise, Idaho area.  We ran all the trails (over 1,000 miles) except the canyoneering sections.
  • Working on my second film, 'Take a Right Turn at Nakwasina Passage'.  Film features a No Limits sea kayaking expedition in Sitka, Alaska (for people with diabetes)

  • Featured athlete at the North American Diabetes & Exercise Conference (put on by Insulindependence in San Diego)

  • 4th Place - Free Throw shooting contest for Washington state (in my age division)
  • 2 Skydives (Tandem)

  • 40- ish Bungee Jumps and bridge rope swings, bridge rope jumps

  • Offered a spot on the Red Bull Divide and Conquer Team for an event in Durango, CO
